It is pouring with rain and lots of thunder so today is a quiet day just checking out what’s near the hotel. Tbilisi is undergoing rejuvenation so most of the Main Street has been ripped up. It is a hazard even without rain. Luckily there is a beautiful park right beside us.

The big clay pots used for wine making are made by hand. It takes many days for the pots to be fashioned by hand and then fired in kilns. The finished pots are coated in beeswax to ensure no leaks. Once made they are put into place at your property and then concreted under their final position.



It’s labour intensive. Not many people want to learn the craft.
Our hotel is an eclectic cinema decorated hotel. Movie themes play throughout the common areas. Movie posters line the halls. Look at the lifts..blue or red?


Either is hard to negotiate the numbers.



Your last church…..my favourite because it is tiny, personal and obviously part of a community.
